This technique was invented by a fellow South African, Dr Des Fernandes, essentially this roller has around 200 little needles, which when rolled over the area to be treated causes fine little holes in the dermis(deeper layer), these areas heal with more collagen and so plump up the skin and give it a better support/contour. This is also called Collagen Induction Therapy.
Various skin peels are also performed by Dr. Young, and these can give remarkable results on difficult areas.
