This technique was invented by a fellow South African, Dr Des Fernandes, essentially this roller has around 200 fine needles, which when rolled over the area to be treated causes fine little holes in the dermis(deeper layer), these areas heal with more collagen and so plump up the skin and give it a better support and contour.
